dr Johannes Dahm Nantes Université
Dr. Johannes Dahm is associate professor (maître de conférences) at Nantes University, member of the research laboratory CRINI (a Research Center/laboratory working on identities and intercultural questions)
where he is scientific co-coordiantor of the second research-axis which focusses amongst other on languages for specific purposes with corpus-linguistic approches - and also cultural studies. He is affiliated with the Applied Foreign Language Departement and the Department of Germanic Studies, and currently associated researcher at the Centre Marc Bloch in Berlin. His research interests lie in the fields of discourse studies and discourse linguistics, corpus linguistics, cognitive linguistics, especially frame-semantics.
dr Kamila Kłudkiewicz University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań
PhD in humanities, graduate of law and art history at the University of A. Mickiewicz in Poznań. The author of the monograph: “Choice and Necessity. Collections of the Polish aristocracy in Greater Poland at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries "(2016)," Kaiser-Friedrich-Museum in Poznań (1904-1919). Museum in the German and European Provinces ”(2021) and numerous articles in scientific journals. Her research interests relate to the history of collecting, museology, broadly understood visual archives, material culture in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. From 2015, he was an assistant professor at the Institute of Art History of the Adam Mickiewicz University, from 2021 the head of the Audiovisual Archive of the Faculty of Art Sciences of the Adam Mickiewicz University.
dr inż. arch. Łukasz Bugalski Gdańsk University of Technology
Łukasz Bugalski graduated as an architect and urban planner (2013) and held a Ph.D. (2013-2018) in the same discipline (Gdańsk University of Technology). He has been Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (2017-2020) trained in the critical heritage studies as part of the "CHEurope" project (MSCA Innovative Training Network) conducted at Istituto per i Beni Artistici, Culturali e Naturali della Regione Emilia-Romagna in Bologna. Currently (since 2020) he is a lecturer at Gdańsk University of Technology.

prof. AMU dr hab. Piotr Korduba University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań
Art historian, director of the Institute of Art History at AMU, deals with the culture of living, design, German-Polish artistic and historical relations, as well as urban issues. Scholarship holder of the Foundation for Polish Science, DAAD, Herzog-August Bibliothek in Wolfenbüttel, member of Polish and foreign associations. Author of many articles and books, including: The Patrycjuszów house in Gdańsk in modern times (Warsaw 2005), Sołacz. Houses and People (Poznań 2009, 2012); In the old Grunwald. Houses and their inhabitants (Poznań 2012) [with A. Paradowska]. Recently released Population for Sale. Society for the Support of Folk Industry, Cepelia, Institute of Industrial Design, Warsaw 2013 and prepared an international exhibition and publication Ernst Stewner - German Polish photographer / Ernst Stewner - ein deutscher Fotograf in Polen, Marburg 2014 [with D. Popp].
prof. GU, dr hab. Jacek Friedrich Gdańsk University
Polish art historian, museologist and lecturer, habilitated doctor of humanities. In 2013-2020, director of the Museum of the City of Gdynia, and from 2020 director of the National Museum in Gdańsk.
A graduate of the Institute of Art History of the Jagiellonian University (MA thesis under the supervision of Prof. Piotr Krakowski). In 2000 he defended his doctoral dissertation (under the supervision of Prof. Roman Wapiński). Since 1990, he has been working at the Institute of Art History at the University of Gdańsk. In 2013, he won the competition for the position of the director of the Museum of the City of Gdynia, he held this position until the end of 2019. In 2020, by means of a competition, he was appointed by the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Mieczysław Struk, to the position of the director of the National Museum in Gdańsk.
He is a member of; Art Historians Association (president of the Gdańsk Branch in 1997–2003), ICOM, Gdańsk Scientific Society, and the Culture Council at the Mayor of Gdańsk. In the past, he was also the president of the Katarzyna Cieślak Foundation.
He is a member of the Council of the Museum of the Second World War, the Culture Council at the Mayor of Gdańsk, the Program Council for the Main Branch of the Gdańsk Museum, the Team of Advisors for the main exhibition at the Stutthof Museum in Sztutowo and many others.
dr. Wolfgang Voigt
German author and architectural historian, active in Frankfurt (Main).
prof. dr hab. inż. arch. Danuta Kłosek-Kozłowska Warsaw University of Technology
Architect, urban historian, urban planner, conservator at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, head of the City Protection Studio at the Department of Architectural Heritage and Art, and of the Postgraduate Studies in the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Cities, for which she developed original programs.
She is the author of many studies, publications, expert opinions on the history of city building, conservation issues regarding the scale of urban protection, including methodologies and the protection of urban heritage in spatial development plans, promoted both at home and abroad. It has a prominent position in international scientific bodies dealing with the values of the historical landscape and the environment of cities. For several terms, she also held various positions in the Presidium of PKN ICOMOS, cooperated in the work of ICOMOS related to periodic monitoring of Polish sites from the UNESCO list, and is a permanent expert of International ICOMOS for the assessment of sites, complexes and cities nominated annually on the World Heritage List. He is a member of the UNESCO University Heritage Network Forum and many expert bodies, awarded in 2014 with the award of the General Conservator I SKZ im. Professor Wojciech Kalinowski "for his enormous achievements in the field of urban conservation and historical studies on city building".
M. A. Matthias Barelkowski Karlsruhe Institute of Technology
Matthias Barelkowski (Berlin) received his Master in History and Polish Studies at Humboldt-University, Berlin and is a free-lance historian with special interest in Polish and German history in the 19th and 20th century and Polish-Jewish-German relations. He is also working as a translator for Polish language and as a researcher for a wide range of projects related to Eastern Europe.
M. Arch. Alina Celichowska Poznan University of Technology
Alina Celichowska is a PhD student in Architecture and Urban planning in Poznan University of Technology. She has completed her studies at the Faculty of Architecture at the PUT, including an exchange at the Architectural Design and History at the Politecnico di Milano.
She was a member of the “In Situ” Scientific Group, where she worked on a project about modern architecture of Opole, finished with a monograph. She is a senior member of the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience.
She gained professional experience by working in the competition team at Burckhardt+Partner in Zürich and at Litoborski+Marciniak Architectural office in Poznan.
Alina Celichowska works on the topic of architectural and urban connections between university structures in Poznan and Strasbourg. She is a member of the scientific project “Imperial affinities: Strasbourg / Poznań and the unwanted German heritage".
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christiane Weber Universität Innsbruck
Her research interests include the history of construction technology and urban planning in the 19th and 20th centuries, the history of technical education, and phenomena of cultural and technical knowledge transfer between France and Germany. Research also focuses on model statics and the history of civil engineering in the 20th century.
dr Aleksandra Paradowska University of Arts in Poznań
Aleksandra Paradowska is an art historian, she lectures at the Faculty of Artistic Education and Curating at the University of Arts in Poznań. She is the author of publications on the architecture of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, including the book Against the disease. Hospital architecture of Wielkopolska in the interwar period ”(2015). Currently, he deals with the subject of the architecture of the Third Reich in Poland and its contemporary functioning. Scientific editor (with Annika Wienert) of the Polish translation of Niels Gutschow's book Obsession of Order. German architects are planning 1939–1945 in occupied Poland ”, which was published last year by the publishing houses of the University of Warsaw on the initiative of the German Historical Institute in Warsaw.
M. A. Nathalie Frank
Nathalie Frank has been drawing, writing and illustrating comics for over ten years, with an emphasis on autobiographical and documentary work. She draws on an eventful international personal and family history as well as a solid education in political science (Sciences Po Paris).
After growing up near Paris in a Polish-French family with German roots and spending several years in Prague working in the theatre industry, she has been living in Berlin since 2011. Besides comics, she works as a journalist (ARTE Journal) and cultural manager (LAFT Berlin).
Her short story "Where my mother didn't learn to swim" will soon be published in German by avant-verlag in an anthology. It goes into the history of the large synagogue in Poznan, her mother's hometown, which was rebuilt in 1941, served as a swimming pool until 2011 and is now a ruin.
